Kym Swain is an International Singer, Songwriter and Producer born in Brooklyn, New York. Her music roots began in Gospel as a child singing in the Albert Jamison Junior Mass Choir accompanying the legendary Rev. James Cleveland. She has worked with producers such as Deric "D.Dot” Angelettie (The Mad Rapper), Jeff Redd, Sean Combs and DJ Class, to name a few. She is the voice on the hook of Notorious B.I.G's gritty duet with Lil Kim entitled "Another". Kym also wrote and performed the theme song of Atlanta's Daytime Talk Show "The Fuller View” which was produced by Class. Her first single “Black Power” was released on Goldtone records, in 1991 under the pseudonym "Nune", (produced by Jovonn, , ”Set it Off" by Strafe). In 1995 Kym was featured on TVT Records first ORIGINAL “DANCEHALL KINGS COMPILATION VOL. 1”, alongside, Shaba Ranks, Dawn Penn, Bounty Killer and Mad Cobra with her single “Here We Come”. Kym released one solo single on TVT records, "Love Thoughts" on “DJ Doo Wop’s Special Blends” on Blunt Recordings/TVT which received popularity overseas in Europe. In 2005 she was featured as a writer and performer on Slash Records release “Shiner Massive Sound System” which she got notable reference in Billboard and Rollingstone Magazines for the group project. She has also performed studio back up for Jazz artist Najee. She has a current single out on Sony Music entitled “Tomorrow” which is featured on “A Gospel Music Celebration” . She hosted her own radio show,“The Show with Kym Swain” on Digital platform, IBNX Radio in 2017. She is the VP of JIG Media, contractor for MA360 Media, Inc. and a producer for BROOKLYN FREE SPEECH TELEVISION. She has represented the “First Black Women of James Bond”, actress/dancer, Trina “Thumper” Parks, retired LA Laker, Theo Ratliff to spearhead his children’s book and anti-bully tour “Theo the Hero Anti-Bully Tour””, visiting schools from LA to Brooklyn and promoting childhood literacy. Public Relations coordinator for Retired All-Star league, THE CHAMPIONS BASKETBALL LEAGUE, where she served as publicist for retired players Dominique Wilkins, Gerald Wilkins, Theo Ratliff and several other celebrity league members. Kym has also worked Soul R&B songstress Angie Stone, TI Harris and family, Father First Non- Profit Organization, The Hank Stewart Foundation and Feeding the Homeless Atlanta organizations. She has relationships with McDonalds, HealthcarePlus NY, Dillards Department Stores, Bloomingdales, Editor for Glossier makeup brand.. Kym was recently featured in Black Enterprise Magazine alongside other rising entrepreneur black women in media PR and Film to look out for. Kym’s clients have been featured in Essence, Larry King, Sports Network,Wake Up with Erica, Steve Harvey, The Fuller View, CBS Morning News, Influencer Blogs etc,. She has provided b-role and PR content for Comcast, MTV, Bravo and TBN networks. Kym currently host "The Show with Kym Swain”, an online app on iStar where she shares new artist, music and entertainment news.
